Every year, between the 25th November to the 10th December, international campaigns on the Elimination of Violence against Women and Girls are recognized. The year 2020 has been tumultuous, particularly with the ongoing Covid-19 global pandemic. Thus, the theme in recognition of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is “Fund, Respond, Prevent, Collect!”
This year, the IGS director, Dr. Pauline Bullen, along with volunteers has called attention to domestic violence by participating in protest action in front of the Magistrate and Supreme Courts and Parliament Building in Guyana.
We invite you to take action. Let’s orange the world, organize and let your voice be heard by calling attention to the elimination of gender-based violence.
